bill clinton plays the blues The occasion was the 40th anniversary of the Newport Jazz Festival, held in a tent on the lawn of the White House. A host of jazz legends played, and at the conclusion Clinton called them all up on stage for a bow. james carter bass sax James Carter playing bass sax in a dressing room before a performance at the 'Jazz Bakery' *Funny note.. I originally uploaded this video from the IW (International Woodwind, based in Hollywood) and posted it up on youtube. James Carter is featured here playing a IW-601 bass sax, which is why it was on the website. Note, that since the website has revoked .wmv in favor of youtube, that they actually took my video, and posted it back onto their website. :) I steal from them, they steal from me. I give them credit for the origional video which I failed to do before, and there you have it. (I also notice that when someone uses this clip on a forum or web-page, they use my version of the video. the muppet show - sax and violence "'Sax and Violence' is meant to have been a sax solo by Zoot for episode 102 of The Muppet Show. Before he begins his song, he doesn't want to play it, but Nigel talks him into it by threatening to get a new sax player. During the performance, Zoot blows small notes of music at a time, and halfway through the performance, Mahna Mahna shows up playing a bell and wildly hitting Zoot's saxophone and face. A shot of Zoot blowing his sax from this number was shown at the very end of the It's the Muppets videos from 1993, and this same shot was used at the end of The Muppet Show reruns on Nickelodeon. It was also used for the music of a montage on The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson.
